Participants will also learn to analyze a large amount of data by using Pivot Tables to look at the data in different scenarios.

This seminar will teach participants how to create a picture of their data using Microsoft Excel 2013's Chart Tools. The fourth seminar, Creating Charts and Pivot Tables, will be offered on Thursday, May 18 from 9:00am – noon at LTC Sheboygan in room S105. Attendees will be shown how to setup accounts, items, customers, vendors and employees and will also learn payroll basics, transferring money between bank accounts and reconciling bank accounts at month end. This class is designed for individuals with little or no QuickBooks experience and will cover the basic functionality of QuickBooks. The third seminar, Intro to QuickBooks Pro 2014, will be offered Wednesday, May 17 from 5:30-8:30pm at the Cleveland campus in room L105. Participants will also be introduced to the Function Library, Excel's formula bar and will learn how formulas can be used for conditional formatting. This class will introduce participants to the concepts and terminology associated with formulas, and demonstrate how to create and edit, copy and paste, and how to check for errors in formulas. The second seminar, Using Basic Formulas and Functions, will take place on Thursday, May 11 from 9:00am – noon at LTC Sheboygan in room S105. It will also provide an introduction to the many tools used to create and use spreadsheets productively. This seminar is designed for people who have never used Excel before and will explore the basics of spreadsheets, entering data, and becoming comfortable with the user interface. The first seminar, Excel Basics, will be offered on Thursday, May 4 from 9:00am – noon at LTC Sheboygan in room S105. If you are needing any of these features then you may consider the update, if not, then you may cautiously await updating to see if there are any reported bugs prior to endulging especially since customer support is going to be limited over the next several days as they celebrate the holiday.Lakeshore Technical College is offering four separate seminars on Microsoft® Excel and QuickBooks Pro in in May. (See Related Features at the end of this article.) We described this feature in greater detail in our article about release 9 for QuickBooks 2018 on November 25. Users can set-up their TSheets account directly within QuickBooks so that the two originate as one from the very start.
